We are thankful today to have had over 100 volunteers from UAW Local 600 who decided to serve our client's a hot meal on their day off. On this MLK Day, we are reminded of Dr. King's invitation to build "Beloved Community," in which we choose to engage with others, regardless of their background,and build community based on the foundation of love and equality.

New socks give us and our clients a reason to smile!

Today, Maggie's Organics donated over 4,500 pairs of socks. Throughout December, for every pair of socks their customers bought, Maggie's Organics donated a pair to homeless individuals. With so many socks, we partnered with The Pope Francis Center and other Detroit organizations to make sure as many homeless Detroiters as possible can benefit from this generosity!
